New Quarters to feature Historical Parks of Interest.

In September 2009 the US Mint announced the next series of quarters to be produced over the next 11 years.  The new series is entitled "America the Beautiful and will feature national historical parks protected by the National Park Services and the US forestry and Wildlife Services

Two of these upcoming quarters are of interest to John Brown fans - 
  • Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (est. June 30, 1944) will be featured in 2016
  • Frederick Douglass National Historic Site (est September 5, 1962) will be featured in 2017
